239: Computer Woes

My computer is in being fixed.  I DID take a bunch of pictures yesterday and will continue to do so but can't post them until I get my computer back.  The one I'm on now is a loaner from school.

238: Rained All Day

And I just never took a picture.  Thought about it a few times but didn't feel creative enough to find something cool inside the camper to take a photo of.

237: The Birds

Cloudy and windy today but I went to the beach anyway.  These seagulls were flying around and around this family.

236: I Got Lazy

Darn, got in bed last night and realized I hadn't taken a picture all day.

235: In Manual Mode

I've been practicing taking pictures in manual mode. I took about 10 photos today and this one came out the best. I used my 18-55 mm lens at 55 mm, shutter speed at 1/80, aperture at f 5.6, and ISO at 400. I was on the screen porch around three o'clock and it was cloudy.

This was the view I had today from where I was sitting on the beach.

233: Tall Pine Trees

Took this picture while sitting near the pool with Donna.  We just went there to sit in the sun and read and chat.  We were the only ones there and it was perfect weather...a little too cool for swimming but we had our clothes on, anyway, and weren't interested in the water.

Saw this daisy-like weed growing near the golf course and just had to take a picture.

Saw this little fellow yesterday just hanging in mid-air.  It wasn't until I downloaded the picture that I could see the web!

228: Finally!

My husband got a tuna when our son was with him!

This one weighed about 341 lbs. and was 90 inches long.

227: Saturday

No picture again and I have no excuse.   I meant to practice in manual mode but...it just never happened.  Today for sure!

226: More Wildflowers

Stopped on my way back from the beach to pick these wildflowers.  Then I put them in the saddlebag of my bicycle and rode the rest of the way back to camp with the flowers sticking out.

224: Seagull Over Ocean Park Beach

Saw this scene as  I was walking over the dunes to get to the beach today.

My mom died last night in Florida and it felt weird going to the beach today.  But, it's going to take over a week to get her up to NH and her funeral won't be until the following weekend.  So, I really had nothing to do today except to make a bunch of calls and bike to the beach.

My friend, Donna, and I took a walk through the magical woods that  another friend, Regina, owns in Topsham, Maine.  These were delicious!
