270: Sunday Sept. 26: Red, Black, and White
Drove home from camp yesterday and should have stopped to take pictures of the fall foliage along the way but I didn't. So, right before going to bed I roamed around the house and snapped a few pics. This was the best one.
I love my camera purse but it's kind of big to take into the grocery store with me. Instead, I just grab my little credit card case and lock my purse in the car.

267: Shell
I crawled around on my hands and knees taking pictures while at the beach today. I like this one because of the blurring in the fore and backgrounds.

264: Sun Through Fog
Saw the sun trying to break through the fog as I was going out the door this morning. Put my bags down, got my camera out, and snapped a picture.

261: A Big Blur: Friday Sept. 17
That's how I felt about yesterday. This is Homecoming week at school and we had a pep rally. Here you can kind of make out a bunch of senior guys making LOUD noise. They are not allowed to use real musical instruments so have to improvise. Those trash cans work really well.
It was almost impossible to get any work done in class. Very frustrating for the teachers but the kids had a blast.
And after school I had to drive two and a half hours to camp.

260: Cutting Board
I don't have much tonight. I should have gone for a walk after school but I got lazy. So, a minute ago, I walked around the house taking pictures and this one came out the best.

259: Ready for a Visit
I snapped this quick picture just before my friend, Dottie, came over for a visit this afternoon after school. She's also an English teacher and we had a great time talking about our kids.
For our nibbling pleasure: shrimp dip with green peppers and rice chips for dipping, peanuts, pecans, and dates.
The old cigar box on the left was my dad's. I found it the other day. It's filled with letters from 1938 written to him by a friend. Can't wait for a long, lazy afternoon to read them all.
My sister, Nancy, made the pretty quilt for me a few Christmasses ago.

258: Berries
Walked around the back yard after a shower this evening and spied these berries dripping with rain water.

257:
I snapped this as we were on our way over to Sinibaldi's restaurant for supper. You can see Mt. Washington in the background.

256: Hallway
My mom ordered the ladderback chair as a kit and put it together, rushed the seat, and finished it with several layers of stain and varnish.
The drop-front desk, she got at an estate auction and refinished the whole thing.
My mom was so talented!

254: Friday's Picture
While waiting for our table at Famoous Dave's BBQ last night, I went outside and took some pictures of the clearing sky in Scarboro.

253: Ladybug?
I saw this as I was going up the back stairs after school and thought it was a ladybug. So, I ran back out with my camera and took a picture. Turns out it was some kind of seed!

251: Backyard Weeds
The kid next door mows our lawn all summer while we're at camp. He does a gret job but there are still plenty of weeds growing along the fence.

242: Sunday August 29
My Kylie girl having fun at Delaney's Hole in the Wall restaurant where she ordered edemame and sushi.
241: Saturday, August 28
These were the flowers from my mom's great grandkids. The two red roses were from James and River. The pink one was from Kylie
239: Thursday August 26
Took this before I left camp. It rained all day on Wednesday and the sunshine was so pretty glistening on the flowers.
