303: The Last of the Leaves

Cold, cloudy, and rainy today.  I went out on the back porch and took a picture of the leaves still clinging to the brances of the maples in our back yard.  They'll be gone in a day or two.

Shoot!  Forgot to take a picture yesterday.  Okay, I didn't really forget, but just got too lazy last night.  I took this picture a couple days ago just after a rain shower.

Today's prompt for Picture Fall was to take a photo of a relationship.  I forgot all about it and only remembered as I was watching Survivor.  So I snapped a pic of these three contestants.  The two guys voted the woman in the middle off.

This is the view from my classroom window.  I opened the window and nearly froze taking this.  It was cold out there this morning...but beautiful!

Today our assignment for Picture Fall was to take a pic of the bounty of the season.  It was about 43 degrees and very breezy today so I took a photo of our bounty of fresh air.  My sheets smelled so good when I took them in!

The prompt for Picture Fall today was to take a photo of opposites.  These books show the difference between my husband and me.  Artful cookbooks and poetry for me and motorcycle books and a history of logging for him.

My MIL and FIL are flying to Florida tomorrow for the winter so we got together tonight for supper.  L to R: granddaughter Kylie, SIL Shaun, me, Gary, daughter Erin, FIL Bob, and MIL Gloria.

286: Dandelion Sunshine

Today's prompt for Picture Fall was to take a photograph of something that is like sunshine.  I saw this dandelion thriving in a rock wall when I got home from school.

285: Literati

The assignment for Picture Fall today was to photograph what we like to do in our spare time.  I love getting home from school and playing a game of Literati.  It's like Scrabble but the mulitpliers are in different spots and the letters are worth different amounts.  Plus, you never know what letters you're going to get.  There could be 10 Cs or no Ks, etc.  It's a crap shoot.  But fun and addicting!

284: Boo Hoo

We closed up camp today plus had my father-in-law, my mother-in-law, and granddaughter underfoot.  I'm exhausted and never took a picture all day.

284: Kylie and her Greats

Kylie calls her great grandfather, Gunka, and her great grandmother, Great Gloria.  These are my husband's parents.  They were divorced 39 years ago but circumstances lately have brought them back together.

I'm participating in Picture Fall and our assignment today was to photograph something that has fallen.  I read the prompt just before leaving for school.  When I walked outside, this leaf had fallen in my door handle!
